Andrew L. Hays
Mr. Hays is a Partner and co-founder of Copper Run Capital, and oversees client services, business development and company operations. He focuses his time on serving companies in the business services, energy, and technology sectors. Mr. Hays previously was a Principal of a boutique investment bank focusing on private equity sales, management buyouts, and ESOP formations for middle market companies. Mr. Hays also worked for, and helped found, Cantor Fitzgerald's investment banking group on Wall Street after 9/11. Cantor's investment banking group focused on capital market activities in the REIT and Oil & Gas Sectors, as well as administering up to $150 million of proprietary investments. Prior to Cantor, Mr. Hays worked for Ernst & Young in Cleveland, working with companies in the business services, manufacturing and technology areas. Mr. Hays has been involved in more than $7 billion of completed transactions during his career.
Mr. Hays has a Bachelors degree in accounting (honors) and an MBA from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Mr. Hays is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA - non-practicing), has completed the FINRA Series 7 & 63 exams, and serves as a FINRA Arbitrator. Mr. Hays is a founding member of the Association for Corporate Growth - Columbus Chapter. He is also a member of the Ohio Tech Angels Fund, Ohio Oil and Gas Association, West Virginia IOGA, and Pennsylvania IOGA. Mr. Hays resides in Westerville with his wife and their two sons.

Scott C. Chapman
Mr. Chapman is a Partner and co-founder of Copper Run Capital, and oversees client services, business development and company operations. He focuses his time serving companies in the consumer and industrial, business services, and technology sectors. Mr. Chapman also assists companies that are looking to grow or diversify through acquisitions on the buyside. Mr. Chapman has assisted in complex negotiations and has orchestrated numerous intricate deal structures. He often assists business owners with succession planning and other advisory services.
Mr. Chapman was previously a portfolio manager for a hedge fund focused on lower middle-market investments. Mr. Chapman began his career with Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C. as a Senior Consultant on the IT Strategy Team.
Mr. Chapman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Mr. Chapman resides in Worthington with his wife, daughter and son.

Brett D. Filous
Mr. Filous is an Associate with Copper Run Capital and focuses his time on business development and client services in the oil & gas industry. Mr. Filous previously was a business analyst in the Brokerage and Investment Services (BIS) group at National City Corporation where he performed financial analysis and industry research and structured management compensation packages. Prior to BIS, Mr. Filous worked for two years in National City's Corporate Audit department where he focused on pension and stock options expense, secured credit and commercial real estate.
Mr. Filous holds an MBA from the Fisher College of Business and a BBA from Ohio University. He is a member of the Ohio Oil & Gas Association and its tax committee.

Tyler W. Stieg
Mr. Stieg is an Associate of Copper Run Capital and supports client services and group operations. Mr. Stieg was previously an analyst in the business valuation and financial opinions group at Stout Risius Ross (SRR), a financial and operational advisory firm. While at SRR, Mr. Stieg valued debt, equity, and intangible assets of closely held and publicly traded companies. Mr. Stieg was responsible for developing financial models, performing economic and industry research, and creating presentations and reports submitted to clients. Mr. Stieg is an Accredited Valuation Analyst and a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the Worthington Estate Planning Council. Mr. Stieg received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University.

Paul V. McKelvey
Mr. McKelvey joined Copper Run Capital in 2011 and serves as an analyst with the firm. He is also the secretary of Capital City Investors Group. As an undergraduate, he had internships in law and finance. Mr. McKelvey is working on his Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University.
